In his role as Vice President of Operations of Star Service – Mobile, AL, Don Harris strategically manages overall operations, encompassing projects, controls, preventive maintenance, service, and operations support. His focus has always been on delivering exceptional, uncompromising service to both his customers and dedicated team.

Don also offers high-level technical support to the sales Team Members. This collaboration is critical as it directly contributes to the growth of the company through owner-direct selling. By providing logistical, technical, and educational leadership, he ensures that the company mission and goals are delivered at a world-class, proactive level.

Before starting his tenure at Star Service in 2012, Don served as Vice President of Operations for a national HVAC service company, where he was awarded the President’s National Award for Innovation. His extensive background in technical roles, beginning as an industrial chiller technician, has enabled him to transition into several leadership positions where he was able to build strong teams.

On a personal note, Don is an avid Master Scuba Diver and has explored numerous majestic diving destinations. His passion for the outdoors extends to various activities that connect him with nature. Additionally, his missionary work in nine countries has allowed Don to contribute to the needs of humanity by drilling water wells, building medical facilities, planting orphanages, and conducting Christmas crusades. Family is paramount to Don; he has three children and seven grandchildren, of whom he is immensely proud. Don strives to live by his grandfather's motto, “Be Better, Every Day, In Every Way,” and applies this principle in all areas of his life.
